From layering to combining, collecting to building, I will take you through the art of collage delving into all of my tips and tricks for creating a textured and emotive artwork. Each participant will receive one of my bespoke ‘Collage Parcels’ in the mail filled with crafty materials, ephemera and handmade papers that evoke A Night At The Theatre.
The experience will center around creating your own bespoke artwork that captures the magic of the theatre, creating an expressive theatre set. Each parcel will also include enough materials to create four postcards to decorate and make after the class using the techniques and inspirations learnt in the workshop.
The theme centers around the idea of being separated from the people, places and activities we love during lockdown and isolation. Whilst we may not be able to go to the theatre this fall, we can certainly travel there in our minds, and share that longing with the recipients of our postcards.
